THE DEVOLUTION WILL BE TELEVISED:

A short documentary by Devin Greene

This is a story of a young man who sacrificed a promising career as an attorney to work at a fledgling charter school in Anacostia, Washington, DC.

In 2001, Thurgood Marshall Academy was established in a church basement in the poorest neighborhood in Washington, DC. It has since become the highest performing open-enrollment school in the District.
